Mosley's comments on Pac's power will only make Floyd even more scared to face him!

We all know why Floyd doesn't want to face Manny.

I was hoping that Manny looking mortal because of a styles match-up v Shane would convince Floyd to step up and take the risk.

But now Shane's comments about Pacquiao's exceptional punching power will surely make the most risk-assessing career-strategizing safety-first over-cautious zero-protector the sport has ever known disappear even further into the black void of his vacation, and hide even further behind his wholly unsubstantiated PED nonsense.

    Cheers again Shane!! :good

He could always watch the fight and see how Pacquiao was struggling to cut off the ring against an almost 40 year old shot fighter and realise there's nothing to worry about.

Except the power. Which Floyd obviously was and still is and now even more will be scared of.

Even if Floyd wins, which he probably will...

Everybody wants to see that fight and he talked all that ****. He said he would fight Pac and Martinez.

Why is he not fightin these guys?

    Is Martinez on steriods?

He did look like he was punching harder. You could visibly see that there was more on his shots imo.

Nope. I'm not saying anything even remotely like that.

What I am saying is that I believe that Floyd fears Pacquiao's power. No way would Floyd's ego allow him to be given spaghetti legs by the "Asian midget" he is so derisive of, and envious of. This is one of the key reasons Floyd will never let the fight happen. He is far too scared of getting clipped by that power at one point in the fight.

    What Kittykasem said.

Regardless of what Floyd is capable of doing if they ever fought, it is the psychological state of Floyd's mind that has already lost him the fight. This is the situation at this time. The man is so scared of losing he's effectively ruled himself out of the contest, and will grasp onto anything at all to justify his fear.

The PEDs bollocks was an absolute lifeline for him, and he will never let that go until he's 100% sure he can win, which basically means after Pac retires and starts calling him out then. So meanwhile, he'll happily read about how Shitty Shame couldn't believe Pac's power, fake articles from sparring partners, *****s on the web spouting more bs in his honour, and feel justified for being scared.

Sad really, because Floyd has amazing. sublime boxing skills but over-protection of that sacred zero will define him as a boxer rather than the heart and courage of one.

Or Pac could unleash the body work that he has done against Mosley. It's not those digging hooks but straight, crisp shots to the rib cage. Very subtle yet destructive.

And Im saying Floyd has faced enough power puncher, and now how to deal with the issue.. Power alone is not a prime factor to make floyd fear pac.

Fact two is that your basing this off the shane fight, and lets face it shane is not a defensive genius by any means.. Shane is open to every straight right, and left hook, because of low hands and lack of head movement.

In his early years Shane packed enough fire power and speed that he didn't need to worry about taking any punishment back from any brawler that stood toe to toe with him, and those day for shane are long gone along with his resilience to stay in the trenches and take punishment.

Floyd has not faced anyone before who Shane Mosley has verified punches like a demon. Floyd has not faced anyone he hated as much as he hates Pacquiao. Those two reasons plus Floyd's ego make this fight a non-starter in FMJ's eyes, hence all the lies and the ducking and the vacations.

Yes, not only could you see visibly, but you could HEAR as well. Pacquiao's power seems to have increased... at least for this past fight.

I imagine that Mosley punches just as hard as Pacquiao. When Cotto was asked the question, he said they have the same power. Mosley has never been in the ring with a guy who punches as hard as himself.

Shane Mosley has verified that all those guys punch like demons?? :huh

Weird, as I don't remember him fighting most of them. And I certainly don't remember him saying any of them punched so hard they knocked him down and made him wary of engaging again later in the fight.

Conclusion: You didn't read my post, and you have failed. :good
