he's great, quite fast, a slugger but that's not to be taken as a bad thing. At cruiserweight he would be a killer.
**** I don't know man, I would take Tyson to beat him. I would take Foreman to beat him. I mean Lennox, obviously one could envision him getting inside on Louis and letting fly but do you see it? I can't say it myself. Him and Marciano is a head on clash and would maybe be the best slugfest ever, who you got in that one? And Dempsey Louis? Sorry I know it's supposed to be you asking me here!
I strongly pick Tyson to beat him, Jacks style is suicide against George imo, I favour Lewis, I favour Marciano maybe 60/40, Louis Vs Dempsey is 50 - 50 based on styles, but if you really push me on who I think would win I go with Joe Louis.
:deal This is exactly what I've always thought - I remember when Holy first came into the heavyeight division - my first thought was his footwork kinda reminds me of the Dempsey-Willard openings before the storm and he had very similar measurements physically to Holy aswell Height 6'1 1/22 against Holy's 6'2" Reach 77" (same as Holy's?) BIceps 16" same a Holy's CHest 42" against Holys 43" waist 33" against Holys 32" Thigh 22" same as Holy's Ankle 9" same as Holy's Dempsey was much livelier and much bouncier and springier on his feet than MIke Tyson for sure in and out and tried to draw people to him more I think - he didn't have the same physical limitations that Tyson had so in a sense didn't need to be an absolute straight forward head down bomber - he could box his way forward too
Both had relatively the same physical attributes / dimensions , both used elbows , similar style . Did Dempsey elbow too ? still he wasn't as small as them. But he was dirty , nonetheless , elbows or not.
