    I followed a great champion to a title.I suffered by comparison, but you couldn't ko me in almost 200 bouts. I lost my title to a toughie named after a State. Who was I.?

    H,Goodrich is correct. He followed the great Benny Leonard as lightweight champion,by winning an elimination bout for the crown.In 196 bouts Goodrich was NEVER kod. he was the only title holder to lose his crown to a STATE. Kansas ! Cheers H...
