What do you think Hayes true private confidence level is to beat Wlad Klitschko ?

He is going to destroy Wlad - and do it easy

Think back to 2009. He had just signed a 4 fight deal with Setanta. The plan was Barret as a tester, Wlad & Vitali and 1 defence. If that isn't confidence i don't know what is.

 

I think Haye is 100% confident myself. Everything he's said he'd do has come to fruition since that loss to Thompson. Sure its not all gone smoothly, its been a bumpy road, not everything happened as he said it or when he said it would, but ultimately he's always reached his end point. That builds confidence.

 

I think he seriously thinks he'll win - he's confident.

The middle one. I think he thinks he can win but isn't stupid enough to think he definitly will win.

 

If i was Haye i'd be looking at Wlad as a guy who, metaphorically speaking, has got fat and lazy beating up unmotivated, overmatched, out of shape bums. He hasnt been in a remotely hard fight for years now. He hant fought anyone with Haye's blend of speed and power that i can remember. Wlad is a very decent technical boxer, with a considerable size advantage, who can certainly punch, but has cracked under pressure before.

Has he been under real pressure and come through it since the last time he got KO'd? I dont remember that happening although im not an authority on Wlad's career. Haye must know he has what it takes to beat Wlad. On the other hand, Wlad has what it takes to beat Haye. The crucial thing for me is the type of guy Wlad has been beating up for years. If they were animals they'd be lambs or pusseycats. If Haye was an animal he'd be a shark or a wolf.

 

To Wlad this fight is a milestone, KO#50

To Haye this fight is the defining moment in his whole life

He is so keyed up for this fight he isnt coming across as his "normal" pre-fight self

He knows, 100% he can & will win this fight, as do I.

 

Right now I'm sure he thinks he can win..

..at 10:35pm on Saturday 2nd July, I doubt he'll be feeling the same.
