I hope Andre Ward wins Super Six, BUT i am disapointed that he has not fought outside his "home area".

    Kessler has been in USA

Froch has been in Denmark and will fight in USA

Abraham has been in USA and will fight again in USA

    Direll has been in England

    Taylor was in Germany

Ward has just boxed in California

Blame the promoters for agreeing to this nonsense.

ummmm, if you watched Showtime's Super6 Boxing Camp 360, you would see your answer and wouldnt have to post this lamer passive questioning into Ward Troll attempt

All the promoters sat at a conference table, layed out their fighter concessions. Ward's promoter was able to secure all of Ward's fights in his country. Did his promoter have to give up other stuff for that? Im sure.

If you had an option to fight in your hometown, would you do it? I in sure in hell would! As much as possible. Of course it gives you some edges. The thing is, that he got his hometown advantage as fair & square as you can get. All the promoters wheeled & dealed, and agreed to it. Now they're all bellyaching about their deals AFTER THE FACT, cuz it seems the hometown edge for EVERYONE in the Super6 tournament is winning, for one reason or another. And dont EVEN say because of one specific thing. There's alot of contributing factors that play in.

The fact that Ward asked his promoter to priortize Hometown advantage is just SMART. This also financially smart on a fan level. He keeps his stage fights in Oakland and builds up his fan base.

He sacrificed a percentage of his purse in each fight.
