    Hey, IB. Good calls.

    Nice prospect, right?

I'm glad we got to see him.

40-36 on all three cards for Molina, of course.

He improves to 6-0 (4), while Danny Figueroa falls to 3-2 (2)

It is because it was a Sauerland event.
I was not impressed by Helenius in that fight. But that is not a topic in this thread.
    My bad.

I agree. That kid was solid fundamentally, and had crisp, mean looking shots. Good sportsman as well.

Looking forward to see how he develops.

Who's Molina, the Mexican version of Nicolino Locche?

He really is El Intocable. Very impressed with the kid.

At one point I was tempted to call him a skinny Latino version of James Toney with the bullet-dodging moves in the pocket, but he picks his feet up more than Toney ever did.

thought the same... his defence is a bit loose and he was winded towards the end.... but I guess it is more because of his very offensive style, which I liked a lot.

Hopefully this is the last time a euro level fighter has to go to LA to fight in an empty arena. US fans are terrible... why don't they support their fighters?

I think his defense was pretty well adapted to the opponent. Figueroa did not throw very sharply, all wide. Molina was clearly comfortable keeping his hands low to be in position to throw and was willing to let a few of those wide shots from Figueroa make glancing contact. He rolled well with just about all the ones that did.
