    Ward jabs to the body and stays moving on the outside. Now hard high jabs to the guard. Abraham isn't getting anything through. Now they jab together up close and both land. Ward is narrowing his orbit. Very stiff jab, tripled by Ward into the gloves of Abraham. Ward is pawing with lots of jabs. Abraham sends a missile left hand, an up-jab that catches Ward on the nose from underneath. Ward was bothered by it. Ward now circles out wide, to the ropes. Abraham gets inside and gets clinched. Abraham lunges with a 1-2, misses. Ward throws a hard jab to the face of Abraham and then ducks as the German hammers down at him. The referee splits them before Ward can cop any rabbit punches while ducked down. Ward jabs to the body and has his head pushed down. Abraham hooks his way in and is grabbed.

    Ward got hurt by that one left, but won most of the round.
