    Ward fought a excellent fight but I think the main factor was that Abraham got tired as early as the 4th rd. and from that point on forgot the jab and game plan and threw amateur punches from that point on but I also noticed Arthur was breathing heavy at the start of the 4th rd. Conditioning is an important factor when you want to impose your will.

    I thought it was a good fight. I was actually pretty happy with AA's performance and overall effort. He started fast and was clearly trying to do the things he needed to do to get the win. The only problem for him is at 168 lbs against an althetic strong fighter he doesn't have a lot of the tools he needs to have the same success as he had at middleweight.

    As far as Ward. I was hoping for the upset but he definitely did impressed the heck out of me. This wasn't a boring fight. He was very solid offensively and defensively he's great. I also feel we can now forget about the idea of him having a week chin. Thisis now two fights in a row that he's fought two big punchers and handled their shots well. Add that to the Miranda fight and you pretty much got all you need to know about his beard.

    Did anybody notice whether any of the two dozen audience members were starting to file out of the tennis court as they wound down the broadcast? :think

    They probably would have announced it over the PA if there was one more bout...and that probably would have kept asses in seats.

    It's still early in California. No rush to get on that corridor back through Compton just yet. (but it's definitely after dark, so roll up those windows and hit the powerlocks :yep)

    Abraham brings nothing to the table at 168, really. He isn't going to impose his size on anyone, he's slower than most, he's easily outworked and defended against, and his power isn't a fraction of what it was against boxers weighing just eight pounds less. It's 160 or bust, and it may take even more losses for him to realize that (or just give up altogether).

    He seems to have gotten it into his head recently that he's a body puncher all of a sudden, but somebody needs to show him some videos of classic body punching clinics by the Mexican legends...because his idea of how it's done is just flat out ******ed. :lol:

    It turns out the tweet is from someone who's actually @ Home Depot Center, and has been reporting on the card all night.

    So it probably isn't televised anywhere, but it IS taking place.

    I'll keep my eyes peeled and pass on more info as it comes..
