sorry i totally disagree......the junior middles can campaign in the middle and take over..other than martinez the rest are weak.

 

Good interview....muddiness is off granges radar.

 

I missed it, how did it go down.

 

Geales people are saying you will always get another crack with choc down the line and the dollars will be the same so why rush it.

 

So until then Mundine will keep having tune ups aka fight nobodies as usual.

 

How was the way mundine was wearing his hat it looked like he was wearing a baby bonnet.

 

It was pretty good, seeing a 5-10 minute boxing segment on free-to-air tv is always a good thing.

It started as an interview with Geale who talked about travelling to Germany and winning the title, then they asked him about Choc and after his response they panned to Choc, who was in some park in Sydney I believe.

Neither fighter said anything over the top, I think Ch 9 were trying to stir them up a bit, but both of their answers / responses were fair enough and not outrageous. It should be on the ch 9 wwos website later today on stream.

 

What? Mundine had a camera on him and didn't actually claim to be the best in the world and can't be beaten :think

 

ye he did....he said he is the real champ and said he.s been trying to fight the champs for a long time but they refuse him....he said his offered them all 100% of the tv rights but they still refuse...he said he doesnt need geale but geale needs him..ect ect i can go on....you can tell he was desperate...but geale looked relaxed and said he can make the same money anywhere else...it was actually a good segment.

 

Mandy did say one exceptionally stupid thing, as usual.

"Geale knows he won't be a real chamion until he beats me"...... :tired


Otherwise that, it was alright. Geale was as cool as a cucumber. :rasta

Mandy seemed odd, perhaps desperate, antsy, and as confused as usual. :shock::nut

 

i asked Mundine on his twitter account how he can be serious about facing top 10's like Marquez and then take fights with unknowns who are ranked 263 and have fought twice in the past 6yrs.... his response:
"the one after this boy...they wanted more time to prepare. i gotta stay active"

funny stuff

 

it wouldn't actually be him, he wouldnt even know how to turn a computer on let alone type.
