Didn't get One-HD 'cos Wilcock couldn't afford nor generate sufficient sponsors to pay 13k telecast bill for each show.
Foxtel would've knocked it on the head, as he's not an established promoter, such as Amatruda/Michael, Myer & Di Carlo, whom this year are the only ones' that Foxtel has allocated dates.

Funny, I spoke to two of the honchos before the series, one by phone and the other by e-mail, and they were 100% that I'd be televised by either ONE or FOX.

I guess honchos were dreaming at the time.

Did Todd Kidd fight Fayad? Boxrec results say Kidd stopped Filipino, Ariel Omongos in the 3rd round.

Fayad withdrew last Monday/Tuesday, claiming injury. Boxrec wasn't aware of this until weigh-in

Todd Kidd is firming as the favourite to take this out.

Appears to be a battle between Tim Hunt and Rivan Cessaire for who might meet Kidd in the final.

The welterweight tournament continues tonight with the following match-ups:

Tim Hunt ( 6 points) vs Mick Shaw

Todd Kidd (8 points) vs Rivan Cessaire (6 points)

Faisal Fayad (2 points) vs Alex Ahtong (3 points)

Tim Hunt and Faisal Fayad both have one no result in their points tallies.

Good stuff - and great to see some support for the welter tournament - it hasn't received much.
