Actually your statement is not true. If he said I will end poverty by 2010 you would be correct. Manny suggests a continuous effort that will one day end poverty.

I would say many incidences are far more harmful to the sport of boxing than anything Floyd has done:

- Ring induced death
- Steroid scandals
- Out of ring murders, rapes, grevious assaults

In perspective, Floyd's out of ring controversies are just run of the mill really. Look at half the athletes, actors, musicians around the USA (and indeed the world) and you'll find similar behaviour in a disproportionate amount of them. I mean, Pacquiao has been linked to stuff that's equally as bad so it's a moot point really.

Also, Im of the opinion that not fighting isn't particularly damaging to the sport; only Floyd's career (and I mean fighting at all - not Pacquiao). Regarding that Pac fight, no one here knows for sure why that fight hasn't happened.

Overhyped fights watched by millions round the world, where the crowd boos due to boredom, is far more damaging to boxing.
