Hector Camacho vs. Manny Pacquiao

Pacquiao would have won a decision , of course , over a fleeing (for his dear life) Camacho , like Chavez (and later Delahoya and Trinidad) did , and I do have respect for Camacho for taking the fights he took (although not much participating in them , probably) and remaining unstopped.
Against fighters as good (and actually worse) as Pacquiao , Camacho tended to lose decisions.
Against fighters as good (and actually worse) as Camacho , Pacquiao tended to settle for a decision .
Quite clear for me , Pacquaio by a clear , undoubted UD over Camacho at any weight from 130 to 160 including both.

 

Camacho would have probably been decked and take a nasty bruising beating.

 

I think the 130 pound Camacho of 1983 is very competitive with Pacquia. He'd utilize movement, but still had the offensive weapons as well. I still think Pacquiao would win a decision based on strength and a busier style. At 130. Pacquia wins 115-113. At 135 and 140 he wins a more lopsided decision. No ko though.

Camacho has a chance at 130 like everyone will say, but higher Manny is much better. Manny is so much greater than Hector.

 

If Pac had the skills he has now, he would batter Camacho around the ring like Chavez did.

I meant recently. I love what he has done in the years preceeding his most recent fights, don't get it twisted my man. Just because he has achieved greatness doesn;t mean he or anyone else should be allowed to **** around. He is a champion and a p4p number one man and therefore he is relevant. Don't tell me these fights with Mosley and Margarito were the right fights for a man in his position, because I will have to laugh, and I don't feel like laughing right now thanks. It's quite genius though what his promotion team have done because in years to come he will have the names of Margarito and Mosley on his ledger but if you consider the word 'current' or the term 'at the time' then both of these fights were a joke. Mosley hasn't won a fight in forever and Margo? His relevance at the time of fighting Pac was nothing.

So that answers your question, I love everything else Pac has done, I was just expressing my frustration with him, and I am equally as frustrated with Mayweather, in fact **** them both. The super 6 is ****ing great for boxing and so is Wlad-Haye. Pac and Floyd are assholes right now and think they are bigger than the sport imo. If they can't fight each other then they can eat my shorts.

Camacho was pretty unbeatable from 130 to 140 between 1983 to 1990. Yes, by the late 80s we all know Camacho was also fighting some fights up at welterweight too, but that was when he was cherry-picking just to remain active and collect some cabbage for his bitches and to score another Ferrari. At his best, Camacho was between 130 to 140 pounds.

Camacho pissed a lot of good fights away by screwing around and forsaking his boxing career. Again, by 1992 and upward, Camacho had seen his prime come and go and getting down as low as 140 was too much of a strain, thus he was forced to go up to 147 and even higher to basically secure fights and finish out his career.

Camacho could've been truly great if he maintained focus and had a real management team that cared, but Camacho is too erratic to be coached for very long. In a way, Camacho is his own worst enemy.

Does Camacho get my vote later on to be inducted into the IBHOF up in New York? YES!!
