You can get 6/4 on Andy Lee stopping Bunema on Wednesday. Seems like a good price to me, what do you boys think? :think
Not bad odds, considering that Bunema is coming off a long layoff, has been stopped a few times before, and even though he has fought a few good names at middleweight, is a natural 154 punder. Take into account that Andy is a good puncher, and id say its a good bet. Im surprised the odds are so good on a Lee stoppage tbh.
Ireland ease to victory over Team GB Saturday, 14 May 2011 12:54 Darren O'Neill, Ken Egan helped Ireland to a 7-2 victory over Great Britain in Schwedt Oder, Germany on Friday night. Michael Conlon, Tyrone McCullagh, Willie McLaughlin and Ray Moylette also recorded wins in this round robin clash. Belfast flyweight Conlon - for the second time in 48 hours - got Ireland off to a winning start with a 15-10 decision over Thomas Stubbs, and McCullagh followed that up with a 9-4 decision over Sean McGolderick. Egan recorded the most spectacular victory of the session, a first round KO of 2005 AIBA World Cadet champ Obed Mbwakongo. The London-born GB light-heavyweight went down under a left to the body two minutes into the first round and was counted out. Egan was 4-2 up when the bout was stopped. Moylette beat Germany's Aytikin Yorici 12-7 after the Team GB light-welterweight pulled out injured. McLaughlin registered one of the biggest wins of the evening and European silver medalist O'Neill beat Callum Smith to make it, counting Michael McDonagh's walkover and Moylette's win, 6-0 to the Irish. Con Sheehan was edged out by Danny Price in the heavyweight category and Cathal McMonagle was beaten by Johann Witt in the final two bouts of the night. Ireland are taking part in a training camp and round robin competition with two German squads and Team GB in Frankfurt and Chemitz. The Irish team will meet Germany for a second time in Chemitz on Sunday morning. Germany edged out Ireland 5-4 in mid-week. This content is protected :happy:happy:happy

You'd need box offs at lightweight, welter and light-heavy for me. Hard to keep Egan off it after the fiasco final and his record. So box them all off really on one night, though there are weights where there are 3-4 contenders all in with a big chance. Tricky all round eh
They had them before the final qualifiers for Beijing... cracking night of boxing that was :good O'Neill lost to Sutherland and the wee Jackal to David Oliver, I think.

That would be a strong squad in fairness. I wouldn't argue with Donovan at lightweight. People seem to forget about Burnett. He only lost to conlon by a point in the seniors. He could feature prominently in the box-offs. and also conrad cummings... he only lost to Darren o Neill by a point. But im a big fan of o' Neill so hopefully he will hang onto his spot. John Joe Joyce should also be considered at 69kg. He has a very good international record, as most people would know.
