Froch didn't kill Dirrell, Pascal, Kessler and Abraham. They've all heard the 12th round bell.

 

More well rounded and better boxer Ward will win. Unless Froch can seriously hurt Ward and knock him off his game plan, I don't see him winning.

 

This is an extremely sticky fact.

 

If it was fought in Denmark, Ward would only be allowed to fight with his hands and not be allowed the use of the head.

Why did'nt Kessler used his critically acclaimed Jab to keep Ward at bay, then?

The thing is, Kessler should have never let Ward get inside in the 1st place. Kessler should have jabbed and used the right hand to keep Ward on the end of his punches.

He allowed Ward to get inside, which is why he lost. You're the taller man with the reach, no way should the smaller guy get inside.

But Kessler can't deal with fighters who are faster than him (Calzaghe anyone?) and, as a result, got his ass handed to him. :deal

 

Yes, and he could have lost 2 of those 4 fights quite easily.

 

Not only that, but for all the talk of Froch's power, he has only knocked down 1 fighter since he stepped up in competition and that was Jermaine Taylor.

At any rate, I think Ward will be ok.

 

I absolutely disagree, Ward was by far the better fighter and that was pretty clear, we can talk about "fouls" and whatever but the bottom line is there was no doubt who the best fighter in the ring was on that night.

 

The only man that I could see beating andre ward is Lucian Bute!

 

If they fought on the surface of the Sun, Ward would have still won that fight, he was clearly the better fighter. The fight would have had to be competitive to a certain degree before the "foul" argument would even be relevant.

 

I think Froch, Kessler, Ward, and Dirrell would all beat Bute, nothing against Bute, but I have seen little from him that would make me think he could beat anyone of these four guys.

 

Bute is very fast and powerful, but I dont think he can handle Ward.

 

If Kessler somehow makes a decent comeback I want to see him fight Ward again, on neutral turf or in Denmark.

Guaranteed different fight if there are no headbutts involved.

 

I can see Froch dominating him and after next week I believe we will see that De Gale will as well.
