Great stuff. Rose had such a great educated left hand.If only he had moved up a bit earlier and avoided the weight weakened beating from Olivares.
I´m sure I won´t Al........Harada vs Caraballo is another one I wish I could see... I love Lionel Rose, one of the most beatiful styles to watch.....
Well, my thanks to both of you then...I've put this fight on the back burner for so long..I'll check it out now..Lionel done himself proud in this fight.
Incredible performance by Rose. I always considered this arguably the best boxing clinic I'd ever seen, especially when taking into consideration the quality of opponent. This was Rose's defining moment. He never really fought quite to this level again. By the time of his fight with Olivares, he was suffering KDs and squeaking by on close, controversial decisions, even in his non-title fights.
As good as Rose's performance was, I'm still just bedazzled by Harada...watching the first Jofre fight reminds me that harada wasn't just a windmill type swarmer..he used the jab..fought oh so intelligently..like he was inspired..a really inspired performance. I don't think he was on the same par for the Rose fight.
