Guys Tommy Hearns could not get by a physical, hard punching Iran Barkley who soundly defeated him twice .. a prime Saad was a beast ... he would tear Hearn's head off ...

It isn't unanimous. But not everyone here knows what they're talking about.

Here you go, evidence to show Barkley was on the ferge of being stopped due to cuts just before he managed to land a desperation punch.

Lol, you're kidding, right? Whats your proof, the fight doctor checking Barkley (very common) or the announcers ASSUMPTION that "Barkley's corner MAY have told him he needs to do something so the fight isn't stopped? Either way it proves nothing, its an assumption on your part. Maybe you should review the first segment and listen to the commentators talking about Hearns bad habit of dropping his hands or barkley's toughness and ability to take a punch. Both have much more bearing on the topic at hand which is Hearns vs a bigger, stronger better version (Saad Muhammad) of a fighter with these same qualities. Would Hearns have somehow corrected his habit of dropping his hands, which he did his entire career, for that fight?

as always with you, all evidence is trashed and rubbished lol.. your a TROLL of the worst kind. Saad was unable to withstand the pressure of Dwight Braxton who was like a man-in-slow-motion compared to Hearns. the commentator in that fight was HOFer Reg Gutteridge who was seated ringside calling the action, yet you JAB the TROLL who was not at the fight and have never seen the fight claim Reg was wrong and you are correct lol... yeah keep it up sunshine, your the "Laughing-Stock" of the forum.. i can't wait unto you come out with more of your Tommy Morrison howlers. like how Morrison is up there with the All time Greats of the sport

He loves to twist a topic to suit his agenda. He had the nerve to say in a PM that no one agrees with me on this subject.

Saad gonna run up in Thomas for an eighth round TKO.This is one fighter Hearns will not be able to handle, and after Muhammad through, they are going to have to carry him out of the ring.

Saad Muhammad may lay back for a while and see what Hearns has to offer, which leads him to getting hit quite a lot in the early stages. Once he gets going Hearns would fade quickly though. Much too physical of a fight for him to be in against a 175 lber. He was better off with a jabber like Virgil Hill trying to box him and not imposing any strength and size advantages.
