That's not fair at all So if you play away first and draw 2-2, then 0-0 after 90 at home and it goes to ET.... then each team scores once who goes through? Or if each team scores twice? That gives the away team in the second leg an extra 30 minutes to score, when being at home second is supposed to be an advantage  If anything it should count after 90 mins, then ET should be a straight 30 mins without.
yeah seems silly. Dont the team who finish higher in the league get to play at home second though, so maybe its their 'reward' for finishing higher in the league in the first place.....
Yeah, the two higher teams in the four play at home second. In our playoff campaigns we've been at home first twice and qualified, and at home second once and been beaten. The two times we've qualified though we've been turned over at home and played against teams set up to defend, which suited us. I'd rather play at home first all things considered, hopefully get a score on the board and make the other team do something special on their own ground under pressure. I'd rather take a 1-0 lead away than have to chase one at home. If they want to give teams an advantage why not make it a three team playoff, highest ranking side goes straight into the final and the next two play a one off game at the higher team's ground. That way there's no dead games in the regular season.
I think there's plenty of value on offer on various markets this week..... a quick round up: DeGale by decision - varies between 7/2 and 4/1 Braehmer by KO/TKO - best priced 9/2. Hills have this at 10/3 :-( Hopkins win - best priced 6/4. Decision is only 2/1 :think Dawson by decision - best priced 4/6. Diaconu is a safe choice but has taken Pascal the distance x2 Cardiff and Reading draw - 12/5 Wakefield to beat Castleford - only one bookie showing right now, 11/10 Also if you fancy winning yourself a free bet shove a lump on Huddersfield to beat Catalans at 2/7. Huddersfield Town are 3/1 to draw with Bournemouth :think
I'd be surprised if Huddersfield couldn't get the job done vs Bournemouth. They finished way out in front of the other play-off sides and haven't lost since January and that was vs Arsenal! Impressive stat.
