Ill be listening to it on 5Live while reading the round by round commentary on here, its a good combination. Haye and Froch fights are the only ones I buy these days.

It's definately worth £15. This will sell very well, which will no doubt upset the anti warren brigade on here

To get the German's to leave their safety net must be costing Warren quite a few bob. Cleverly isn't a big enough name to support his own show, even in Wales at the moment, so PPV for his title shot and this huge domestic fight is borberline acceptable for me. They are 2 quality fights in a time when these are very rare events in the UK.

We keep calling for more competetive fights for all our boxers but essentially these cost more money. I think it's something that we'll have to get used to paying for if we want higher quality matches. Either that or we'll see our more succesful boxers ply their trade in America like Khan.

I don't mean to be anti-Haye again, but his recent offerings have been pretty mundane, and the undercards are generally wank.

This has got a solid pair of title fights and a reasonable if uninspiring fight for Gavin too.

Really, compared to other shows that have been on PPV recently, Haye vs Harrison fell well short. The couple of Mag 7's have been far superior. But because Sky sold the arse off it and paid people to lie through their back teeth it got people talking.

It's a good production, and well worth £15. If you're watching it with a few mates, a takeaway and plenty of beers will set you back about £20.

Most of us would spend at least that having a few pints down the local.

It's debatable whether this is worth £15 or not.

Haye vs anyone or Khan vs anyone will probably always sell more than a PPV like this.

But how much a PPV sells doesn't determine if it's value for money. This is PPV because the people who buy it are less likely to buy it for 1 match
    i.e Khan/Haye PPV's are bought to watch Khan/Haye fight.

The people who buy this PPV are more likely to be more serious boxing fans and will have interest in the Cleverly and Gavin matches..... So people are less likely to be disappointed after the PPV is over, if Degale vs Cleverly blows there's a chance the other 2 fights will be entertaining.

Whereas when the Harrison vs Haye match blew..... most people watching didn't give a **** about the Groves vs Anderson fight.

I know the good old days of all the big fights being free are long gone, but they're simply taking the **** these days.

It really isn't that long ago at all that this bill would have been a regular Friday Fight Night offering. I don't believe the idea that PPV is needed to make these fights happen, this is just people getting greedy, that's all.

This is a good point. They're catering for two different markets.

Any show like the Mag 7 is likely to have a couple of crap fights on. The DeGale/Smith bill featured a couple of **** fights involving Macklin and Cleverly..... whereas Bellew was in an up and downer and the main event was good if one-sided.

With this one you had a **** main event and a good undercard fight hidden away amongst lots of pointless guff in the studio. To be honest it was a low point for British boxing and for Sky. Hopefully the lessons of that night have been learned.

the reason why the Mag7 was so good was because there was 6 50-50 fights on the bill. if you got 7/7 on predictions you did very well.

I will be paying for this bill.

I do not often pay for Sky ppv boxing because of recent times the fights have not been ppv worthy or have had poor undercards. This bill looks very good so though and worth my money....I do however expect to be ripped off by Sky only showing 2 or 3 fights and talking for the rest of the television programme.

They were more 60/40 to be honest....70/30 for some.

    I got all 7 right

They were just matched up against fighters that would be competitive but just a level (or 2 for some) below his fighters.

It was seen as 50-50 beacuase actually for most of Warrens 'goldenboys', because they were ranked below there opponents, hence a step-up for them.

But credit to Warren it worked very well and we saw good fights and great entertainment.
