Floyd is supported but not worship like an Joe Louis or Ali because of the times and there several boxers, athletes, artist and entertainers. When Floyd beat DLH alot came his way like WWE, dancing with the stars and commercials. When Floyd beats Pacman he gonna have even more privileges come his way.

Yes because we all know all books we read are true. :/

So you stopped learning after 1993 or something?

    Research it numbnuts.

Even leading Black Americans historians and Civil rights activist pretty much conceded that the letter is a hoax.

    1. It uses terms that did not exist or where not used until the 19th century.
    2. There are no references of it from ANY anti-slavery from the 17-19th century.
    3. Anachronistic errors
    4. Confused British and American writing style
    5. The South????

There are so many other little and big mistakes in that letter to be legitimately from 1712 it is not even funny.

The problem is that the media can't sell a black man with extra-ordinary skill unless they can insert a negative so he's not looked at as being iconic. And if they can't control that black mans iconoclast (through an appealing imagery) he becomes a negative in the eyes of conservative America. Allen Iverson, Barry Bonds, Kobe Bryant, T.O have all been given the status of selfish ingrates yet they are by far the best at what they do. If any of these guys were white would they be treated the same way? I say no! They would be the greatest athletes in the history of American sport. Which they already are by the way. We have to realize that the media uses in particular black athletes to paint perception. Whether it's Jesse Owens or Joe Louis as a coldwar tool or Curt Flood to show us that they're all a bunch of greedy black athletes who wanna get paid better than white players because they are better. These are always problems for the hegemonic forces that are the powers that be!

what a pant load. guys like you seem programmed to run on excuses. blaming the media for not being able to control through appealing imagery like, a clean record, responsible character, honesty, integrity and class. yes, it is the medias fault that these fellow excuse makers cant be made to act like something so obviously anti black. since you probably cant change the evil medias mind, including the black sector of the industry, you should try to make being an ******* cool. then you excuse makers can enjoy all the praise you so obviously deserve.

    Floyds logic:

    blacks should support blacks.

    Fillipinos should support Fillipinos.

    Mexicans should support mexicans.

Does this mean it's acceptable to be white and support the white guy without being called a racist?

No man I just grew up watchng guys like Curt Flood say things like," I think every American should be able to have the right to choose where and with whom he works". for this Harry Reasoner put the statement out there like he said, " KILL THE WHITE MAN"! There's no excuses, this is the history of America. Remember this house was built on racism and your denial is the proof. It just isn't all good after 150+ years of forced emancipation. The residue of the most hanus crime in world history(the triangular slave trade) affects us all black or white. Most Americans can't move past any issue of relevance with a solution. This is contrary to your lack of culture. It's easier to hate and dismiss rather than to address and remedy. But than again most whites in America see Black males as an inherant problem or The Negro problem. This just hasn't gone away. Believe me I work in financial services and there's not much difference in any white males mindset here than there was in 1929! Just Friday I was called a Jig and asked if I liked fried ckhn, and they thought it was funny. when I looked a that person and said," I prefer it baked", I was promptly called into my bosses office. And you talk about excuses. Yeah I'm a ****in sad excuse for not busting him in the mouth. But 220k a year appeals to me! But don't act like this **** doesn't exist because I'll tell you man, those you won't acknowledge racism are the obvious problem. You're either part of the problem, or part of the solution. No in between!

no. its you devils who are trying to make woman beating, animal torture and infidelity seem like a bad thing in order to keep the black athlete from reaching iconic status. you have forfeited the right to support your own.

you actually expect me to believe that that kind of behaviour is tolerated in a modern financial institution and that a guy with your world perception is going to tolerate it with such uncle tom serenety? you would have been on the phone with sharpton that same day planning your black employee walkout. and i wouldnt have blamed you for it, but try and stay on the believable side.

You must not have been paying attention. This happens all of the time.

Ever been to an Andrew Golota fight?

    I have.

I saw Andrew get KO's by Brewster live. It looked as though every Pole in Poland was in the United Center that day.
