    Arum is a genius.

Pacquiao personally stated he is willing to fight Floyd with OSDT. So you can remove Manny from the equation. So it's just between Arum and Mayweather.

It's pretty obvious through the eyes of the media that Floyd is taking more heat than Pacquiao on the issue. That's the reason why Floyd is starting to get out of his shell and made some "quality material" videos on Fighthype.

But Arum, as the typical shark, saw the unique opportunity to put more pressure on Floyd by slow-playing. Remember that Floyd's hearing has been delayed until July 29 and could face up to 34 years in prison. From a business perspective, investing in this fight is very hazardous. Mayweather will probably settle an arragement with his girlfriend but without taking more heat from the media. Around the same time, Pacquiao would have generated around 1,3-1,4 m in PPV with JMM.

At the end of the year, Pacquiao would have generated minimum 2,4m PPV to Mayweather's 0. Negociation for the fight will take place and this time Arum would have the leverage. Arum will probably accept OSDT but he would ask for a 60-40 split while dropping diffamation charges. Mayweather will be against the wall and will agree.

Arum is a genius of evil.

Although you make a lot of sense, I have to disagree big time on one main thing you said. Floyd will never agree to taking 40%

He will have to, because if Floyd is found guilty on the diffamation case, the sentence would be heavy if he faces the three strikes law.

I take it you aren't aware of Floyd's two other assualt charges against woman where he pleaded no contest. If you don't think they take **** like tha into consideration, you're fooling yourself.

That is what Arum is counting on. Mayweather will settle all his problems with a big paycheck, but in the process ESPN will butcher Floyd's image. That way, Arum would have the upper-hand on negociations.

ESPN doesn't need to do anything to buthcer Floyd's image. He's done a fine job at that himself.

no tv station or media outlet can butcher floyds image if they could they would have already...just like how they make out pac to be jesus!!

the fact is the guys talents speak for itself!! he's never lost a fight, never been knocked down... hell he hasn't even had a scratch on his face!!

and due to those facts alone people will continue to pay to see what who boxing people realise is the greatest of our time!!

The funny part is Floyd's doing all the fight promotion and Arum wouldn't spend a dim.
