Buncey will tell you the electricity between Eubank & Watson was unreal before their 2nd fight.

Didn't the 2nd fight not sell very well and Hearn took a big financial hit?

Sure it sold 25,000+ at White Hart Lane. It was 22,000 at some point (few weeks out I think) but tickets were being sold right up and actual counts got muddled.

Many say it looked like 30,000 in there.

Watson, Benn, Stretch they all hated Eubank because of the arrogance he portrayed, Watson fought as hard as he as ever fought against Eubank, Eubank did not hate them, thats why he kept winning.

As did the vast majority of the public. Eubank has to be the best british boxing pantomime villain of all time.

Not so much after the fight, due to Watt going onto better things.

But Watt has acknowledged that he hated the way Buchanan refused to relinquish his british title whilst world champion and thereafter, whilst refusing to defend the title in that same period ('70-73).
