Both Sturm and N,jikam have been avoiding Golovkin for some time, and I dont think Mundine has come out from under the bed yet on his near miss,I like Geale a lot but I believe he should not be in any hurry to fight Golovkin.!!!!

As much as we all want to see these titles unified, what's more important is how long a bloke can stay in the money tree.

This is a good fight for Gennady because he's carrying the lesser belt (Generally regarded that is) but for Geale, his management has got to be trying to pull the tits off the cow to get as much "easy" money they can, It's what managers are paid to do.
They have to figure out what fights to take & where it will generate the most money, Anything less, they would be incompetent, & the one no-brainer rule is, you put the big bangers under everyone you can. Remember Khan V Prescott? I can guarantee you Khans management will,,forever.

Get the belt, make it pay.

The 'space' on the forum is not only unlimited, it's FREE :patsch

Looks like he's asking you to do what he couldn't Stiffy - you summed it nicely when you called him a wimp.

If Geale wants to unify IMO he should wait for the winner of Zbik/Chavez Jr fight and go down the WBC path ..

Quite a few guys Geale can fight that dont have the punching power of Golovkin....not sure why they would even consider this :blood

IMO Cory Spinks is the fight for Geale :good

Me too i think Geale would probably get turned off at the mains v Golovkin but why in the world would Geale travel all that way to defend against a dangerous fighter like him in the first place ? It's a no brainer from the off IMO a better option would have been an attempt to lure a named fighter like Paul Williams down under but Williams is off back down to Junior apparently , some solid fights await Geale if he's game enough ( something I believe he is ) but he needs to capitalise on his recent show of balls before he starts on the unification road .

I have always thought Zibic was a weaker champ than Sylvester...if Geale is going to unify then fight him....problem is Zibic won't have his title in 1 year :deal

    IMO PW is dangerous

End of the day Spinks, Simon then Mundine...all fights Geale should win.....
Anyway Grange and Shaw will map out the options and take the best risk v reward fight....they won't give the belt away easy :deal
