Abe Abraham says Ward has no power, even after he got whooped

I've said this before. I think kids with speed coming up in the amateurs get 'ruined' punching power wise. They are out to score points. That means get it out there and get it back to be in position to throw again.

 

Abraham is right though. Sparring partners of Ward have been quoted saying "Ward hits like a baby"

 

it was great to see kalle sauerland feeling ripped up during the the last few rounds.

 

I don't have a problem with AA saying that Ward doesn't have killer power - as long as he also acknowledges that Ward gave him a boxing lesson.

It's true that Ward won't win with flashy knockouts. But he will outclass people. As long as Ward keeps on winning, then he is doing what he has to do. I have nothing against boxers winning by superior skill rather than always getting devastating KOs.

 

If his shot had no power then why was he covered up? Eat the shot to land the shot. Instead we see AA cover up all night while getting hit. Soft or not his ass was still eating punches.

I just say for Ward is that If your quicker to the punch, Thats power in itself!

 

Arthur did get out boxed but I dont believe he ever got hurt... Hes entitled to his opinion! I myself have said many times Andre cant crack! Its the truth... AA just confirmed this!

Basically Abraham's opinions about his opponents (especially ones who beat him) are worthless. In most cases he would not give credit where it is due. So this this interview is meaningless.

 

Kelly has a good chin like abraham! So when these manly mother ****ers say someone cant hit.. Just take there word for it! ...:good

 

Ward was hurting him with those jabs to the body. But you could tell he was really trying to put as much snap into those shots as he can. He just doesn't have heavy hands.
