just watch the fight. Then watch his fights against lesser fighters like Maidana, a shot Nate Campbell or Anthony Peterson.

He weighed alot less in those fights. Truthfully, I'm not sure how he was even able to make 140.

Against Peterson, he weighed in at 140, stepped in the ring at 156.

That draining of those extra 7 pounds was really too much for him, as he is still young and growing.

 

Did you even consider that Pacquiao was also draining himself at the lower weights? Out of the topic, just asking.

 

At the really lower weights (sub 126), yes, I can see that.

But Pac really could easily make 135, and not be drained. Ortiz is a tall guy, with a solid build, and it seems that, at 147, it's his best chance to win. (Not that I think he beats everyone at that weight).

Pac is eating like a maniac just to maintain 147. He was "built" to be a 147 pounder. Ortiz is a natural 147 pounder, I saw that years ago.

Could Ortiz be juicing? Of course. But moving up one division at the age of 23 is pretty normal.

 

All men are suspicious, but I will say no. It is obvious he had mental breakdowns earlier. Also Berto has been known to be rocked, have suspect conditioning, and drawn into brawls. I think all of those things combined to do Berto in.

In the same breath, no man is above suspicion. If his next opponent calls for FROSDT and he balks? We have our answer.
