I believe he's much more comfortable at 147.

On a serious note I suspect him. You usually dont go from being a guy quitting in fights when you get hit hard to a guy that gets up and stays in seek n destroy mode after being cold cocked with a right hand from hell. That right that dropped him would KO the Ortiz I thought I knew or it would of put the brakes on his efforts. He never showed the kind of balls and reselience in any other fight. He was stronger than usually as well. Berto IS stronger than him but he was not that night.

Ortiz beat berto's ass and showed who the real man was that night! :smoke
If he fought berto again he would Stop him this time... Berto likes picking on 140 pounders.. Guess what? he ****ed with the wrong one this time! Ortiz is a strong 147 pound fighter... get over it!

No way!! Had you ever seen ORtiz fight before Berto? Ortiz has always been built and was real strong looking for a Jw, i always said he was one of the strongest looking JWs ive see seen... In recent times(maybe ever) only Juan Urnago has him beat.

No hes always been jacked.. He just didnt have to struggle to get down another 7lbs, hes at his his natural fighting weight. And not wringed oiut like a dry towel.

Lot of fighters have gained moe bulk in a short period of time... Reminds me of Leonard when he came in for Hearns II, looked like he had ben working more at Golds then the boxing gym.

If he wins the LH and Cruiser(same jump as Manny) title someday im sure he will raise suspicions.

So Ortiz draining 16lbs to fight at Jr WW is a sign that he's dehydrated, but Pacquiao draining 16lbs to make Jr LW is fine and healthy, in your opinion?

The thing is, he went from being to small for the weight in 2005, to rehydrating to 148 in 2006.

THAT is something that would arouse suspicion, IMO.

I got that big rather easily just by lifting weights and I was lifting for strength not definition. Strength = heavy weights lower reps. Muscle definition = light weights more reps. The younger you are the easier it is to build Muscle definition without the use of PEDS / steroids. It's natural the younger you are because your body already produces it.

it's not his muscle definition that surprised me it's that he fought like his blood was being pumped with adrenaline the whole time, while against lesser opposition he was more like the tentative lion from the wizard of oz
