See, Arum did not even consider the Floyd fight anymore. Why would a promoter go through the headaches of two failed attempts when he can easily make money on a way easier fight to negotiate. Arum talks money and money makes sense to him. Plain and simple.

Complete cop out to say 'Manny just fights, Arum takes care of that'. Manny is his own man. He is perfectly capable of making requests to Bob Arum as opposed to being treated like a racehorse for the benefit of Arum's pockets. If he wants the Mayweather fight, he knows what is required.

I think a part of him truly does not want to face Mayweather. Not because of fear, but because he knows Mayweather's style is not the type that encourages what he likes to do.

It's absolutely pathetic that Manny the biggest name in the sport cannot make his own decisions. He's Arum's little ***** boy, Arum is his Master and he does whatever Master tells him like never speaking about wanting to fight Mayweather. Why doesn't he man up and make a decision for himself instead of leaving it in the hands of a crooked old con artist white jew.

But he would stand to make more money off of Pac-Floyd than any fight EVER!!

Floyd said, on the record, that if Arum had anything for him to call AL Haymon, and then they can talk.

But Arum, again, on the record, asked "Why should I speak to Al Haymon."?

Arum hates Haymon as much as he hates Floyd. Arum's hatred, and the fact that he can dupe millions of fans into buying sham fights, keeps him from honestly persuing this fight.

All Floyd has to do is pick up the phone and talk to Top Rank directly instead of hiding in his mansion.

And people refuse to see this, because that is how boxing has always been. Minority fighters controlled by devious and corrupted white promoters. (*Not saying all white promoters are evil, all fighters are minorities, or that Don King is not Satan himself).

But this dynamic is so deeply ingrained in the sport, that most people don't even notice it anymore.

    It's awful. :-(

    :deal this...

After the Cotto fight, the first negotiation failed, and clottey filled right in couple days after. Mayweather fought Mosley, in the Floyd/Mosley fight, if you remember it was either jim lampley or larry merchant said, "Mayweather wanted to fight someone who the public is willing to accept", which was Mosley, while Arum cherry picked Clottey. After all these talks about the second negotation, Arum gave Floyd a deadline, for what? so Arum can set a overhype cherry pick fight fighter which is Margarito who is making a so called come back fight in mexico, a few days later after the fight, Mosley was already being discussed as the next opponent, then same exact ****'s been happening, Marquez already been offered, while Arum and the rest of team Pacquiao is manipulating the media that Floyd duck blah blah blah.

Arum is the mastermind in all these and he has a big influence he manipulates the boxing media, Pacquiao is just a follower, i dont blame him, overhype and cherry pick fights with easy money, while hes legacy is being eaten up by all of hes fans. Im filipino, and my grandpa always says this, "IT DOESNT MATTER WHO PACQUIAO FIGHTS, FILIPINOS WILL ALWAYS GO AHEAD AND WATCH", theres 2 million filipinos in the U.S, boxing is all about money.
