From what I've heard clubs with be getting 7.5 m a year from the NRL, so the 7m salary cap is sustainable. Of course this depends on them getting at least 1 billion for the TV rights.

What do you mean if they can get a $1Billion deal. It would probably be worth more, I wish it was all Channel 9 coverage though, no Austar.

Well they should get at least 1 billion, since the AFL got 1.25.

 

I don't see how they can't NRL is prominent in Sydney, most of NSW, ALL of QLD, 50/50 NT. It would be rediculous to think they wouldn't.
