Smiths guy is about the level I expected (ie. poor) but Sextons is a shocker.

 

I can see what they are doing with Smith's opponent.... they want someone that's half decent but safe enough, the sort that can give him a few rounds and boost his confidence.

As for Sexton..... Rasani is obviously a brave fella but this is taking the ****. If this lasts more than a minute I'd be very surprised.

 

Don't knock Rasani - he is the 3rd best heavyweight in Zimbabwe.

 

Warren should have put on Rogan-Sexton 3.

Rasani is pointless especially at heavyweight he was getting blown out at cruiser so he wont go a round at heavyweight.

Smiths opponent is the standard you would expect. If Smith could stop him then that would be a decent result and show how strong he is at middle.

 

Smith is fighting at super middleweight for this fight

 

Agreed about Rasani, I mean the opponents were never going to be great but it's a pointless mismatch if Sexton is in shape and focused.

 

just disgraceful. these are the sort of match ups that kill boxing. no problem with an easy fight but at least someone who will be competative. these guys JUSt lost their titles and are arguably top 3 in the country and fighting complete journeymen.

Are you sure about that? Isn't this a trial run to see how he does at middleweight his opponent is a middle and all the talk of him has been thats hes going down to middle from now on :think
