I know Donaire hasn't debuted at Super bantam yet, but it looks like he could easily perform at that weight.

    How does this fight go?

Prime morales at lighter weight was unstoppable. Hell even barrera barely got 2 of 3 wins so for your only loss to be to a future hof fighter tells the tale

Donaire is so good he's a level above Morales, Barrera was robbed in their first fight and Donaire looks to be a better boxer, faster and a better puncher than MAB

I'm not so sure. I mean he's looked frankly phenomenal at 118 - and I'm a Darchinyan fan who's dying for the Crab to know Donaire out in a rematch. If you go by most recent performances, Donaire's probably the best fighter in the world right now.

Morales was good but not that good, he's well overrated, Arum matched him pretty carefully up until the first MAB fight, he caught everyone at the right time, Junior Jones for instance had just been ko'd. Then he got a gift against MAB, then he moved to 126 where he was matched fairly carefully again up until the MAB rematch, where he may have won to be fair to him but why didn't Arum match him against JMM or Norwood or someone when he was there. Corrales/Casamayor both wanted to come down to face him but Arum didn't make those fights, they weren't Arum fighters after all and Morales was his cash cow.

Morales is an excellent fighter, Donaire could be 1 of the best ever though, he's much better than Pacquaio was from 115-122 too

I'm not going to say "Donaire" just yet (my fave fighter right now)

But what tools does Erik Morales have that he can beat Donaire? Donaire's challenges have been limited, but he has dominated opposition and seems to take a good punch and/or very good at avoiding them (Montiel and Darchinyan have very good power). His left hook power and straight right IMO is better than Morales' and are faster (prime 4 prime)

Morales was phenomenal at 122, he`d have the height, reach, size, skill & power advantages here & would kick Donaire`s ass all over the ring.

Only peak Barrera & Wayne McCullough (spell check) lasted the full 12 vs Morales at this weight & neither beat him.

There is a good chance Erik Morales is the greatest SBW since Wilfredo Gomez.

    Morales by KO, rd9.
