Never been the 02 before. Anywhere for an afternoon drink round there or is it better to have a bevvy somewhere else and then travel in?

    Cheers!

Drink elsewhere - London Bridge way - and then travel in.

O2 only has a few bars and they are all way, way too expensive.

There are some cracking pubs just over London Bridge around Borough Market.

I'm from round that way. Greenwich is pretty good to drink in, loads of good pubs, bars, restaurants etc. You can get loads of buses straight into the 02 and it takes about 10 mins. Just don't go to the Wetherspoons..... If you want some good cheap grub there is a massive noodle house called tai won mein, I'm addicted to it!

I wouldn't bother with the 02, reminds me of a shopping center.

Any pubs that will show the rugby union (HC final)? Think I've found one in Canary Wharf but a backup would be nice.

I'd check the mitre, they show most sports but I'm the wrong person to ask about rugby!!!! If it was a final I'd be suprised If they didn't.

Give them a call or email to check http://www.mitregreenwich.com/lse.html

I'd also check the Auctioneer, thay shows sport too! Not really a fan of that pub though....

Is there anywhere good to go in the O2 after the fight? Most places in London shut early, and as the show will finish close to midnight I'm wondering if it's worth the hassle of getting out and faffing about finding a place, or just pay that bit extra and stay in the O2?

The Pilot is a few minutes walk to the O2 - go Greenwich first then head to the Pilot before the stroll up.

Greenwich or anywhere on the Jubilee line basically - check the Jubilee line for weekend closures though .
