Ringside seeds spot on, Johnny Nelson is good because hes done it all, that Smith bloke needs binning, Barry McQuigan would be spot on for the joint holst.

Lets be honest if they got rid of ringside and put on the remainer of the cards from the Saturday night on instead of it. It would bring more boxing to the tv screens. As people have said any boxing on sky is good but you see little boxing on ringside if they are looking to build up a fight use Sky Sports News like they always do for weeks before hand. Boxing fans dont need to be told to tune in for this fight or that fight most fans would just tune in for the fight no matter who is fighting.

This place is mad. If ringside wasn't on any more people would be complaining again. People complained about not having something like ringside for as long as i can remember on here.

I think their specials are very good but the weekly ones are as expected just what you want an interview with the fighter and a quick summary of the fight. Not to sure what else you can get in to a weekly boxing show.

    :patsch!

They should bin it because they don't show local fighters from small places?!

Really, do you think SKY are going to put out airtime for a bunch of fighters out of clubs who can't get airtime?

It'll never happen. Ringside is a enjoyable show, they should never bin it.

The idea of Ringside should be to build personalities and grudges. They've a few moments since it came back but haven't really elevated anyone new. I don't have a problem with the specials but put them on when you don't have a show to build up. Spending an hour on Lennox Lewis when you have a Saturday card that needs building is a mistake IMO

Were did I say they should show local fighters from small places? What I am saying is they should show the remainer of the cards that they didnt show on the Saturday night from there main promotors. Ringside has been a joke since it came back. I would rather they use that 1 hour for more boxing action than talking about up coming fights. They get enough build up for the fights in there live coverage as well. I think its a waste of money others will think its great we have seen in the past the Bunce hour which was more enjoyable than the **** that Sky is putting out. If your happy with the **** so be it.

If you want it bin, then your not really a boxing fan. Ringside does a lot to hype up fights, without hyped up fights there would be no big fights. Without no big fights Sky would no show boxing.

Although I'm not saying without ringside there would be no boxing.... I'm just saying atleast we have a magazine boxing show on TV and a pretty damn good one.

I really enjoy ringside and I think most people do. When I say most I mean people who just don't live inside the 'ESB forums bubble'.

Sky have many ways to hyping up a fight be it on Sky Sports News there website anywhere. I dont see why Im not a really a boxing fan. When instead of them talking about the upcoming fights that they replace it with the fights they didnt show on there live fight night. Yep I not a boxing fan.:huh

It's not about replacing it... I'm saying it's about the fact you want a boxing show axed that doesn't get me????

Wanting less boxing shows = not a fan of boxing.
