Don't know what you're talking about. A Ward-Bute fight would be close, nobody would get Lacy'ed.

 

Are you refering to the Calzaghe/Lacy fight when Lacy got exposed for what he really was?

If so, I would actually think that Ward would be the one exposing Bute. Not the other way around. However I've only seen 3 of Bute's fights so its just my opinion.

Ward is better than Lacy but could you imagine the reaction on here if Bute beat him comfortably?

I am a Bute fan, just to make that straight for everybody.

Ward was really impressive agains't Kesler and AA, very impressive. His boxing was excellent, never was in problem, his jab was effective, his in and out, ducking when necessary. He is quite a good boxer. Bute on the other hand is usually patient, wait for right to start throwing his best tool: his deadly uppercut. Bute's jab or right hook (his left handed), or not that great making it difficult to keep the fast Ward outside. Bute have been knocking world class fighter (although not top 5) over and over for the past years now and knock anybody with his uppercut in the division if it connects. Would be a great fight, I hope it will get done asap.

Ward will outbox Froch in my opinion (from a Bute fan).
