Even The Ring magazine is sick and tired of Floyd "retirement" and decided to take him out of his Top 10 Pound-for-pound list. Even if I'm not a Floyd fan and the fact he should fight against Victor Ortiz in a couple of months, do you find this decision a bit severe?

By the way, here is the new list:

    1-Manny Pacquiao(147 pounds)
    2-Sergio Gabriel Martinez(160 pounds)
    3-Nonito Donaire(118 pounds)
    4-Juan Manuel Marquez(135 pounds)
    5-Pongsaklek Wonjongkam(112 pounds)
    6-Wladimir Klitschko(Heavyweight)
    7-Timothy Bradley(140 pounds)
    8-Giovani Segura(108 pounds)
    9-Andre Ward(168 pounds)
    10-Miguel Cotto(154 pounds)

    your thoughts?

No reason for Cotto to be on it. Hasnt beaten a top ranked Welter or Junior Welterwieght since he beat Mosley.

    Decent list otherwise.

Froch should be 1-2 in his last 3 fights. No way he makes the list.

He makes mine. I had him beating Kessler and losing to Dirrell on my cards. I know you don't like Froch but the man is one of the very best in the sport and deserves his due.

Could someone explain to me why Giovanni Segura deserves to be on this list? I mean, he had two excellent wins over Calderon and a couple of decent wins, but P4P? I don't understand his placement on this list.

It's pretty well known that Ring Magazine drops guys from the rankings who have been inactive for a year.

This isn't a bad list at all. I would have Donaire at number 2 though.
