This is a very good choice.

    What about Marvin Hagler?

Pep, Louis, Arguello & mayweather are not bad picks either tho the footwork of Arguello wasnt on par with his other qualities.

    His footwork was nothing great.

His footwork was awesome when positioning to counter. Infact how many fighters actually do that?

With the mighty titans who opposed him, it's really quite remarkable.

I wouldn't include Louis. Footwork was too plodding, chin was a bit iffy, and he could not adjust his fight plan on the fly. From the waist up and neck down he was pretty much perfect though, I give you that.

Nice pick. I'd put Mayweather Jr up there too, very little to criticise in the abilities of either fighter.

Few fighters were as hard to hit as Leonard when he got on his bike. That lateral movement was a nightmare for opponents to deal with, even for greats like Duran and Hagler. Often he would stand and trade but I'm pretty sure that was a deliberate choice.

While I wouldn't claim him as "flawless" I think you paint a picture that truly wasn't there. His footwork was calculated and his chin was if not impregnable, never exposed as a shortcoming in his prime.
