Only Marquez knows for sure. However, if 144 is a good weight for him, then why did his team turn down a fight with Khan at 140 lbs.; saying the weight was too much?

By your logic, Mayweather is not a legit WW. His fight night weight is usually around 148 lbs. Pacquiao has been fighting above 140 lbs. for two years now, and has excelled. He's a legit WW.

I will not believe that. Floyd looks like his weight is in the mid 150's in his last fight.

Ironically it's mostly *******s who feel Pac is too big for JMM and cite that as the main reason monster-pac will KO Jmm early!

Mayweather claims he was 148 lbs. on fight night against Mosley. You claim he was in the mid 150's. I think it's amazing that you can tell the difference between 7 lbs. just by looking at a guy on T.V. Anyway, whenever his fight night weights have been shown, it has been no higher than 148 lbs. at WW. They haven't shown Pac's fight night weight since the Hoya fight. Even if you take Manny at his word and dissmiss Mayweather as a liar, you would still have to believe, by your logic, that Mayweather wasn't a legit WW during the Baldomir fight.

Really Reg? And since they don't post his fight night weights, how'd you come to this conclusion?

maruqez 64,4 kg looked strong vs mayweather (jr. just too tall, reach, too good for him)

    pacquiao 65,8 kg (vs runnley)

marquez is a bit taller, the reach is the same, for me, they should setle a weight, like ~65 kg for both. Than it would be unfair for nobody.

    Pacquiao vs Marquez III
    Pacquiao vs Timmy
    Pacquiao vs Mayweather

    than -END-

Everytime they've showed his fight night weight at WW, it's been no higher than 148 lbs. He claims he was 148 lbs. on fight night against Mosley.

Floyd looked as big as Shane. Pac weighed 148lbs against Shane and he definitely looked smaller than Shane.

in the picture the two look close, but when you watch the fight, Shane is clearly bigger.
