if both fights were on the same night, at the same time... what do you watch?

I would have to think about it. Floyd-Ortiz is more likely to the better fight, even a more competitive fight. But Pac vs Marquez has all the history that tempts you to want to tune in more. I'd have to think about it, but I believe the more I thought about it the more I'd want to watch Ortiz-Floyd. But then again, I'm such a fan of Marquez that I don't want to see him get brutalized if there's a more competitive, more legitimate fight out there to watch. It's tough.

Unreal...weak justification and **** fight, again love JMM but he's coming up two weight classes (9-14 lbs) to fight a guy in his "natural weight class". Their previous fights were at 125 and 130 respectively, this "they will be the same size" is speculative and skewed, IMO.

If it's not skewed and this is the "same weight" he always fights at, how is it that PBF who fights at 147 was able to absolutely dominate JMM, yet many here are so dismissive of his domination? I mean cause the weight is the same right...It's common to compare fight weight to weigh in weights right? I mean that's what we are doing here am I correct? Either way the man is past his prime, he's coming up two weight classes and he's going to get outclassed by the bigger, stronger, younger man.

Let me put it this way. Pacquiao fighting JMM at 144 legitimizes the prior catchweight between JMM-Floyd (but not the overweight bs at the weigh-in). People had room to talk before, but if they want to praise Pac for this performance, it will not be because of the weight anymore, rather instead Pac will have to put on a lightning performance to outdo Floyd's schooling. Essentially the differences between the performances will be an issue of what happens inside the ring.

For the TS, I might watch Pac JMM III just to finalize a classic war, but if I'm watching it alone I'd be flipping channels a lot.

Unless they were showing Floyd-Ortiz on the big screen above the ring where Pac and JMM were fighting, I'd have to just watch the fight that is right in front of me. :smoke

Mayweather vs Ortiz easy. Why? Cause it's a fair fight.

Now If Marquez Pacquiao was at 140, I wouldn't even think about it twice!!

Pac would run straight through Ortiz as well. I really don't think Ortiz stands much of a chance against either Pac or Floyd. :verysad

I would definitely be watching Pac vs JMM III. Hell, I felt that Marquez won the first 2 fights and I would love to see a third. I would also love to watch Mayweather vs Ortiz, but it is not the kind of fight that can't end up being a dud. I could easily see Ortiz being counterpunched too easily with his wild style, and going into a shell sooner or later. Although, he could prove dangerous early and he has a shot. The point is that I KNOW Pac vs JMM will be a great fight even if it doesn't go the distance.

Although I enjoy watching the fights on HBO much more. I was going to say that I wish they picked up Tarver but he saves the Showtime broadcast for me.
