i like this thread and echo most of the statements. wlad is so superior at what he does that it makes haye's performance almost irrelevant; wlad will control every second of this one

Shhhh!!! Keep quiet. The truth could kill the build up to this fight. Years back people who don't care for Wlad based on ethic origin, or style used to embrace the fighter scheduled to face Wlad next. I get the feeling Haye is being embraced for some of those reasons. Except Haye is a punk, who has pulled out of two fights with the Klitschko's, and crossed the line in his promotional antics. I hope Haye suffers a clean 10 count from a thunderous shot, or goes out by a mere glancing blow which would only underscore the fraud I think he is.

Fans who pay attention to Haye's words should take note, he wants to retire soon. He isn't a savior for heavyweight boxing, and he doesn't fight anyone dangerous with bravado.

Well all the mental **** aside I see some things in Haye that could trouble Wlad. The pick is sort of a gut feeling though i'll admit. I think Haye can land something big and smother Wlad with punches, forcing him to have another panic attack. Haye needs to work on finishing after getting guys hurt though.

This is the first time I picked against him since Peter way back in the day.

This will be a surprisingly easy victory for Wladimir Klitschko. There will be some scary moments in the first two rounds, but I think he wins inside eight rounds, well ahead in points. Wladimir does tend to become nervous when in a dogfight, but I don't see how Haye will avoid his jab or take it for very long without it affecting him. The thing is bloody hard.

I doubt you'll see 3 punches thrown per round for the first 4 or 5, Haye's just going to keep his distance throw lots of feints & nothing much else just to hopefully provoke a mistake such as an attack by Wlad who'll do absolutly nothing except keep his paw out.

It'll be a stinker of a fight but i recken Haye will wait for that split second opportunity to jump in & unload & Wlad will have no answer to that as Haye will be in & out & gone. I can't see haye getting the nod in this fight & around 8 he'll start to let loose, as i said i doubt they'll be much action just posing & feintng but Haye may hope to pinch these rounds by attempting the odd in & out flurry as Wlad's going to do ****-all except hope to catch Haye on the way in. Expect a stinker of a contest!! But if someone's going down i recken it'll be Wlad if Haye gets into him & thats a big IF!!

Even the Wlad haters will be impressed with him when he executes Haye. It'll be a hate motivated fight but Wlad will be as cold as ice in this one...and control it from beginning till the end.

Yeah, it will be a cold calculated one-sided demolition, I suspect.

It may well be a boring far-from-classic fight. But domination deserves respect.

Hopefully it will be more entertaining than Wlad's usual defences ,that are so thrilling, the US doesn''t buy them. :think

That is because in America we hate our pale skin, other pale skinned folk, white athletes, white Europeans in particular (as so many of us are embarrassed by our European ancestry), entertainment of any kind, exceptional athleticism, anyone from the old USSR, and mostly because we can no longer produce any extraordinary athletes and having seen the Klitshckos recognize/understand that we couldn't hope to match them and have thus quit pursuing boxing solely due to their arrival, presence, and ring dominance.

Did I miss any ESB Euro explanations for our biased total disinterest in the Klitschkos?

Largely undecided about this one. I've a sneaking feeling that Haye can pull it off.

What you say may be correct. Theres is a chance of a lot of posing in this one. But I believe people are assuming about the posing after watching Haye v Valuev. Valuev was a pure monster of a man. Haye is a small heavyweight. I think anyone of Hayes size would have fought roughly the same way. The size difference was almost cartoon style funny.

Wlad is still the bigger man, but the physical size at least will be less imposing to Haye than against Valuev.

Based on your analysis, which was particularly close to mine (And most knowledgeable posters), I could tell this was a gut pick as you favored Wlad. I don't want to get duped into letting Haye's talking get me to swing the odds. My analysis, nor percentages haven't changed. But Haye is saying all the right things, and has Wlad's psyche pegged perfectly. Everything he has promised he has done, though (Even if unspectacular), but the specifics are all good so I don't see Haye being like an old Mosley with his talk. That's good news for Haye fans in my view. Again, talking and doing aren't the same thing. But confidence and a right gameplan is a start.

Haye is 6ft3 , 78" reach and his average weight at heavyweight is 216. He is not a "little one".

First 2 rounds will be slow and boring with both fighters being very cautious. I reckon it might kick off from the third onwards.

No idea how it's gonna end up, just hope it delivers
