So, although there still remains a bit more work to do, apparently, to finalize Pacuqiao vs Marquez III, it appears to essentially be a done deal.

With that in mind, the question becomes:

We still have to learn the final PPV numbers from Pacquiao-Mosley, but they seem to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.25 million buys - 1.4 million buys. Such a buyrate would mark the highest of Pacquiao's career, surpassing the mark he set when he fought Oscar De La Hoya in 2008 (1.25 million).

With the rich history of the first two Pac-JMM fights, combined with Marquez' strong Mexican and Mexican-American followings, could Pac-JMM III become the best-selling Pacquiao PPV in history?

Poll above and share your thoughts below. :bbb

I can't see it doing that many, but you never know. I could have put more options in, but I voted for "More than 1.5M".

I voted for less than 1M, reason being I think the last fight between Pac and Mosely will make the casual fan hesitate about forking over $50-60 for another fight. We're all hard core fans so it may seem strange that not everyone is a die hard fan and that fight's going to scare way the casual fan for awhile, but if this a good hard fought fight like there others were, the rematch will do very well. That said, those with Mexican heritage may end up proving me wrong in this fight and maybe it'll easily get past 1M.

Personally, I don't think it's going to all that competitive given Pac's great performance at 147, but one never knows.

Can't make a guess now. Try the poll again when the fight is weeks out.

I'll make a better guess when I see the official Pac-Mosley numbers.

If marketed right, and it will be, this fight will break new records in PPV sales.
