Fair comparison they were both relentless and had hands of stone he ko'd his first 23 opponents before 1 went the distance, hell he was 64-1-1 at one point with I forget the exact number I think it was 56 or 59 ko's I know it was in the 50's though and he wasn't fighting soft competition either.

Mexicans and Filipinos do that quite often, I mean it's harder to name 10 Mexicans who turned pro after 18 than before. From the US Benavidez and Gomez did it at 17 lately, Khan also at 17 and already with an Olympic medal, from Cuba Hairon Socarras turned pro just after his 18th, Saul Alvarez turned pro at 15 but his handlers claim he had other pro fights not yet listed, so he acutally turned pro at 14!

Oh and did anyone say Koki Kameda? He turned pro at 17 just like his lil'bros Diaki and Tomoki.

    Koki Kameda!

As far as I know 18 though everything depends on the local commission that do the licencing. Gomez, Benavidez, Khan, IMO they all had to apply for a special permission.

I hope the dog is okay!

Youngest Heavyweight to win a world title not youngest fighter to turn pro.
