I mean, who would you outright favour better than a 50-50 proposition to win against a prime Sonny Liston ?
Not necessarily sure things, but favourites in your eyes.

    No "could dos", please.

    Personally, I don't think there's anyone.

You cannot not favour Ali, its ridiculous hipter-revisionist at its most stupid.

I'd also favour Tyson and Lewis

You must be forgetting, Clay/Ali needed two fixed fights to beat an ageing Liston. :smoke

The ultra-hipster-revisionists always favour Ali in this match.

You're just a weird **** with weird points of view and arguments. You're trying to be different.

As much as i wish i could convince myself that peak Frazier could take Foreman, it just isnt true.

Ali completely outclassed and outright defeated Liston both mentally and physically. Liston was straight off of easily his two most impressive fights, the two 1 round destructions of Patterson.

We know you don't like mainstream fighters and we know you consider Jack Dempsey a contender for a top 5 P4P ATG slot.

Coloured TV fighters. Casuals know Tyson, Ali, Jones jr, De La Hoya, Leonard and Pacquiao. They dont know Dempsey.

Roy Jones Jr was awesome, I rate him higher than most on the classic section, I bet. If someone puts him in their top 10 or 20 all-time, I'm not one to go screaming about it - many here would.
    Muhammad Ali was amazing, obviously.
    As was Ray Leonard.
I think Mike Tyson gets a little bit overrated.
DeLaHoya I know little about compared to most here, I admit.
Pacquiao is clearly a great fighter.

90% of my posts are heavyweight-related. My interest and knowledge of lower weight divisions is poor. I've found footage of Charley Burley quite boring, and don't read articles about Cocoa Kid. That's how dismally "mainstream" I am.

(Of course, none of us who are here often are "casuals". We are sick fanatics or some sort of another.)

But if you want to call me a hipster-revisionist, I kind of like the ring of that too. Just don't ask me any questions about Holman Williams or Elbows McFadden - I don't have a clue.

    Two possibilities:
Short, strong pressure punchers like Frazier or Tyson.
    Big guy like Lennox Lewis.
Max Baer? I simply don“t know.
