    Floyd Patterson (with bad back)
    George Chuvalo
    Henry Cooper

REALLY tough to say with so little first hand knowledge of what greb's style was. newspaper reports can give us a sample of his greatness and ability with other fighters but when looking at so many diverse styles, i think we need a little more on HOW greb fought to say who he may or may not struggle with. that's just me though

Greb beats them all, apart from perhaps Terrell.

Can't see Greb beating Liston. Sonny may have been past his VERY best, but hardly shot. Terrel would have beaten Harry.

If we're getting literal about the exact same circumstances, I don't see why Harry wouldn't have at least split the series against Sonny.

Dempsey would also murder Greb.. don't tell me your know going to tell us that 5`6in Greb the powder-puff puncher is going to beat 6`7ins Terrell & 6`4ins Cleveland Williams or Floyd Patterson & Sonny Liston ffs your deluded mate.. if Greb was all you try to make him out to be then every boxing historian & boxing fan worldwide would be singing his praises in similar fashion to you and McGrain. but the reality is that Greb was not "Superman" and was licked thrice by Gene Tunney before Tunney even reached his prime as a fighter.

Dempsey wouldn't even fight Greb. And Tunney was smack dab in his prime while fighting Greb in fights that were much close than his fights with your fallen hero. You can't argue with facts which is why you tucked tail a ran from the Dempsey thread. :yep

Truth is i never ran from the Dempsey thread.. you and McGrain was spewing out assumptions that no one else accepted as facts. i asked you both repeatedly to provide links yet never was any produced so i moved-on from reading your bull.... Ray Arcel the greatest trainer in the sports history claimed" Gene Tunney retired before he ever reached his peak so we will never know just how great he really was"... yet here we have JAB the known troll and known liar telling us Gene Tunney was in his prime when fighting Harry Greb  .. away with you

You're right, quarry, Tunney's prime was when he became a fully-fledged heavyweight the last two or three years of his career.

Greb was an incredibly tricky fighter though.
