YES!!! i have always been saying this...Even with Taylor's freakish handspeed, Chavez still slipped many of his punches...Like in one part of the fight where Taylor throws a flurry of punches, and the vast majority of them were slipped and blocked by Chavez, yet Lamply would be all over Taylors dick like herpes, yelling out "Brilliant stuff from Taylor!" :patsch

I want to agree with you, but it was more of Taylor's work rate that gave Chavez fits than his speed

You think Lampley was chocking on taylor **** just go listen to Col Bob Sheridon's commentary, he's vertuly swimming & then drowning in Meldrick ejaculate:shock:

This is still all i can recall as this is really all he said right up till the 10th.

    That round for... Taylor!
    Another round for Taylor!

Chavez is not far off from Mayweather in terms of skill. Chavez had a left hook to the body that would make Floyd **** blood for weeks. Only problem Floyd would run. If he wouldn't engage Castillo, he certainly isn't going to with Chavez. Chavez would do a better job than Castillo at catching Mayweather and would win a decision over Mayweater.

Floyd beats Chavez in this matchup, simply styles make fights and this fight would be a nightmare for Chavez plus Chavez wasn't that much past it when he faught Whitaker which in my opinion was a complete shut out! Mayweather by decision in a tough fight.

I miss those days when Floyd would get more offensive when he saw his opponent begin to break down. But regardless he is still my favorite fighter.

Chavez is like a 3x better version of Castillo. He would probably make Mayweather throw in the towel.

    Chavez late TKO.

Floyd couldn't put a dent in Chavez at WW, let alone LW.. Prime Chavez runs him out the ring.

I love how people talk about Floyd like he is the type of fighter that caves whenever the going gets tough. Like whenever he is facing someone who gives as good as he gets then Floyd has no answers and just fades like Cintron. From what I have seen, whenever Floyd is facing a tough opponent, he steps up his game and matches fire with fire. Whether you hate him or not you can't deny him that fact. The only person around his weight class I wouldn't give him any chance against is Tommy Hearns with his height, reach, great boxing skill, and piston jab.

Floyd beats Chavez 12rd UD or SD
