Arthur Abraham, Mark Breland, Marlon Starling, Floyd Mayweather Sr.*(the asterisk is because if he wouldn't have gotten locked up he could of had a shot or 2 at greatness), Duane Bobick, Eddie Machen, Doug Jones, Zora Folley, Greg Page, Hurricane Carter*,Juan Urango, Devon Alexander, Fernando Vargas,Oscar Bonavena**(2 asterisks means he coulld've been great but he fought in the Ali era), Ron Lyle**,Michael Katsidas, Jose Luis Castillio, Diego Corrales,Buster Mathis**, Ernie Terrell**, Mike Tyson*! That's my short list for now. But I will say there was one guy out there who is a truly truly great fighter that will never be credited as being such. This fighter was truly the epitome of the sweet science. Unfortunately he also fought in the Ali era. JERRY QUARRY HAS TO BE THE MOST UNDER-RATED BOXER/PUNCHER EVER! There were nights this cat could've kicked Listons ass! THE BELLFLOWER BOMBER IS LEGEND!

Mercer won the fight...Still don't know how Lewis got that decision and then a pass for ducking a rematch...Lewis was wobbled just about every round...

Good call on Mercer for this topic...
