Warren blasted Amir Khan's decision not to take his fight with McClosley to sky sports 3.
    I wonder :think
if he is told this card wont be PPV and it will be shown on regular sky sports, whats he gonna say?

Will he shut up and accept it like he said Team Khan should have :think

I'd guess not considering that most people on here seem to prefer Cleverly-Bellew to Cleverly-Braehmer....;)

i dont quite get that :huh

Braehmer is a ***** but the guy can fight. And he would be a harder opponent than Bellew on 3 days notice surely

I can see that angle but the way it seems to be is that the paying public prefer Bellew.

As I said before, I'd much rather pay for DeGale vs Groves even without Cleverly than Khan vs McCloskey. I think it's still a much, much better fight.

Funnily enough an advert for the show just came on with Braehmer still on it :hey

No chance, the Bellew fight if it happens saves the card.

I am concerned about Bellew making the weight though. Seems to struggle at the best of times so its not ideal.

yep, thats the big concern. Bellew says he's 6lbs over but if he wasn't due to fight until July that seems a little "optimistic".

BTW Cleverly-Bellew has been taken off Boxrec for what its worth.

Yeah, I can imagine Bellew is desperate for this fight no matter how far off weight he is and he's probably saying that so he's not out of contention.

I find that very hard to believe though, given the size of him, that he could be 6lbs off weight for a fight 2 months away.

Warren's facebook page keeps sending out messages about the fight being shown on epix website for free. I assume this is just for US and is blocked over here? They never specified that though.

    Frank Warren Promotions
This Sat at 4pm ET #boxing fans are treated to Degale v. Groves for free online, right here http://epx.ms/mjrvk1 on @EpixHD

I think people like the idea of it, but they would quickly change their minds if Bellew turned up not fit and put on a dissapointing show.

Personally I'd rather see him fight the German, then defend against Bellew at a later, more ideal time.

I'm now pay £15 for 3 genuine domestic dust ups. Gavins isn't incredible but in fairness he is 9-0 and fighting a former British champ, with sneaky power, experience and riding a 3 fight win streak. Clev vs Bellew will be great as will DeGale vs Groves simply because its quality to see 2 young undefeated prospects cross paths.

Honestly I think it's just people being grateful for a decent enough replacement on a few days notice.

    It's easily a better PPV than Haye/Harrison and Khan/McCloskey.

In this you've got two big fights with plenty on the line and a couple of reasonable undercard fights shown live.

The other two were just cash grabs.

I'm trying to think of the worst undercard for a PPV.... Hatton/Lazcano? Hatton/Mayweather? (not that anyone gave a **** mind, even Rob ;)) Haye/Harrison (though Sky are partly to blame here with their touchscreeen)

    Any advances?
