That Dirrell fight should have been a loss,,,So really Froch has lost twice...

Bute has looked dominant (except the end of 1st andrade fight)... THat being said i hear you about Frochs competition and thats why i have them very close giving the nod to Froch.. But HTH id pick BUte to win a match between these 2.

I also think Williams turned into a underrated fighter... People forget he just beat everyones number 2 guys just a couple fights ago.. Ill admit i had Martinez winning but it was still very close and they were on par.. Yes he goit kod,but when knocked out by a huge punch like that by the 2nd best fighter pfp, should not erase this guys prior wins or forget about what he brings to the ring..Unless he looks shot or showing ill affects from the the ko.. He shouldnt be taken lightly... Being dropped from the top 10 is understandable considering the other guys who are coming off big wins or on long streaks.. But i believe he is still a top 15 guy and i would favor him over the number 1 JM (COtto) or the number 2 Mw(Sturm).

 

As much I think Team Elite is utterly silly, I agree that people are overrating BHop not in only in P4P sense but ATG sense. Because he is old and he beats someone young does not mean his resume is awesome. It is crushing cans but older. K. You get points but NOT THAT much points.

 

Actually for me its not just that hes still beating good young fighters at an old age.. Its who he is beating or unofficially beating. Pascal just beat a guy who was on everyones pfp list and considered the best LH in the world,and most thought Hopkins beat him, most also though Pavlik was a pfp top 10 guy and that he would beat Hopkins... Hopkins is just beating up the youngsters that fans and press people are rating high.. Just because B-Hop beats them up, that means there really not that good? It dont work that way, you cant say these guys were chumps because B-Hop made them look bad.

Bottom line is i look at it like this B-Hop not only has bettter resumes than the guys below him .,.. Imo he also beats then HtH whether pfp mythical or guys ranked high that are close to his weight... I would love to tell you guys i told you so if Froch and B-Hop were matched up.. I have no doubt B-Hop would school him and make him look bad.:yep

There is no doubt Bute can potentially beat the top SM's. For me though, I think a boxer should mainly be rated on what they are doing I.e the last 5 fights, as opposed to who they should beat. Their potential definitely should be a factor though.
