wow...great analysis and as someone have pointed out... if this was posted by some no name poster in ESB he would have definitely been called a *******, dont know **** about boxing , noob, etc etc. because PAC utilizing feints is just too mind boggling for them

but on to the third fight... i really don't see it being competitive at all. i mean i would love to eat my crow but i just don't see it. not only will JMM be dealing w/ those improvements in PAC's game but the physical difference b/n them has just become too much for his skills to "counter". not to mention that PAC can now eat his way through the match.

135 is the only weight i see this being competitive but i don't think PAC likes to show his cheekbones anymore....it doesnt go w/ his Beiber hair :yep

Nice breakdown from JMM. It seems he still badly wants that win over him and has been studying closely what Pacquiao has been doing. Truly his white whale.

Pac has beaten better technical fighters than him several times. It was more a case of being able to take Pac's punches so easily and to go push him back and go to war with him that won Morales the fight.

Marquez and Morales are the most technical one's he's faced. Clearly Morales' control of distance and accuracy had more to do with the win than being "bigger and stronger."

The page previous to this I outline why JMM adapted to Pac's rhythm in a way Floyd has not demonstrated he is able to. Single jabs won't land on Pac consistently, and lead rights only work if Floyd is controlling the pace. He fights in straight lines. Seriously though for discussion sake read the pages right before this one and come back with your opinion :good

JMM's age makes it so that he's not a favorite to win, but if he's aware of Pac's improvements and is still able to take out young top lightweight contenders with his preserved technical prowess, there's no reason he can't give a man hell a third time after he matched him even twice.

I think you see it online much more than in real life. I think Filipinos are more open to liking Morales because they can sleep at night knowing Pac got revenge on him twice. JMM, not so much yet. 2 hard fights 4 years apart without a decisive victory.

Plus Marquez hasn't done a San Miguel commercial with Manny like Morales did.:D

Rivalries are great for the sport. There's is a great one and by all means I welcome a third fight because I'm not a cry baby. But like some of the posters from the PI who aren't fully ******ed have said, it's mostly just keyboard warrior Flips who deride Marquez. I think that's the general consensus. The Pinoys on my ship who I've told about this next match of course will say "oh he'll beat him again" but i'm always quick to mention that they need to watch the 2nd fight if they really think it's a sure thing. It's really not. I expect Marquez to bring it because he hasn't really backed down from anyone. Even when he's outmuscled.

That is normal Spanish for an educated cultured person. The thing is most boxers are not, and we don't expect them to be.

But it seems to be a fact that JMM is a man who likes to learn stuff, stuff not even related to boxing. You can tell the guy likes to read. He's a nice fellow.
