a +30 year old floyd does what he did to marquez at any weight...126-147....dont matter....hes outclassed.....kinda like pac was outboxed by jmm over 24 rounds you guys have every kind of excuse in the book as to why floyds fight with jmm was a farce...but his next fight with pac is great and makes total sense....its priceless yer the same guys who swear pac has now agreed to testing...but have no proof...no contract that was ever presented to floyd....you even have arum, while fielding a conference call after his imposed top rank website deadline, saying he "cant comment" on what concessions manny had made last time around in regards to testing
If this is the case, which I agree to a certain extent, than how is this a bad fight? In contrast to what this dumbass article states, there was NO possible way Marquez would beat Mayweather who had size, style, and other physical attributes over Pac. But as you said, "pac was outboxed by jmm over 24 rounds," so what exactly is the problem? I'd rather see Mayweather vs Pac, but his ***** ass is in hiding.
typical....cant address the points ive made..... the fight is pointless because you guys cried that jmms effectiveness is limited at this weight.....but now youve tried to find a reason its ok for jmm to fight this high...because its against your boy.......this fight its wack...and everyone with a shred of common sense knows it....if it had a point....arum would have made it already....but its only being made because pac is out of legit options if this fight were any danger to pac, ole bob, wouldnt be making it...just like he hasnt been trying to make the floyd fight......ill give you guys major props though....jmm is coming off some wins...thats a change of pace for pac! although they were at 135....
Who? People are complaining, but, they're not listing realistic alternatives. Who would you rather see Pac fight?
who wrote this one? The website has shown more bias with their editorials. It's pretty stupid for them to suggest Victor Ortiz given GBP-TR's feud that EVERYONE knows is preventing a lot of good matchups.
that feud, as its painfully obvious, is one fueled by bob arum....gb would be more than happy to make fights with top rank guys....its arum who holds grudges....whats so sinful about suggesting the ortiz/pac matchup?
true about floyd "oh jmm fight was a farce...thats too high for jmm to go up and carry his effectiveness....his skills are diminished at that weight"...... "hatton had only fought once at 147" "he got a split against a 154 oscar...pac stopped him"!!!! "shane was old, and gassed, he stopped throwing after the 2nd round"
Time will tell if they're right but as a JMM fan I like to think they are exaggerating. All depends on how Marquez comes in.
There really isn't any other credible fight that will sell out there right now because of the stupid ass fued between TR and GBP. Floyd is the only option and where is he? So this is what we get, like it or not. I think at least why it lasts JMM will try his ass off, but the last fight was 3 years ago at 130, he's 38 now and trying to carry more weight, no way is he going to be faster than Pac which is where this has become more of a mismatch. JMM was already peaking at the game in 08', Manny has gotten better all around then he was then. Not the fight I'd like to see, I know all of us would like to see Mayweather instead, but with him not around, then who? Bradley is tied up still, Ortiz is hell no for obvious reasons, there just isn't anybody else right now.
What did I tell you. Yesterday, Pacquiao could have fought Marquez,Berto instead of the old Mosley who didn't look good his past two fights. Now that Marquez is next, it's a disaster. /facepalm smh.
