the only reason this fight makes sense is that because of the closeness of the two first fights and that pac and jmm at fight night is about the same size as each other, other than that, pac is proven above 135 while jmm is not. but i would rather see pac fight jmm than cintron or judah.

my problem lies in the fact that this fight was so terrible for floyd to take....because jmm wasnt proven at that weight(and it was said after he just cant carry the weight and be effective)...but its ok for pac to take

sure it caps a trilogy...but the reality is....after the 2nd fight....we kind of wanted to see a 3rd....but pac fans claimed and were screaming "why....we knocked you down 4 times and beat you twice".....so whats the point?.....especially now at a higher weight?....pac is just out of name options....arum didnt want this guy anywhere near jmm after the 2nd fight...hell i don think he really wanted to put him in there with jmm for the 2nd time(hence the crap offer he made to jmm so he went and fought chris john....and arum spun it like nacho made the worst biz decision ever)....this fight is like a last resort of arum....trying to build some excitement after two pretty unspectacular shows hes put on...actually thats like 3 in a row now....

it is terrible for floyd to take because floyd was a natural welter already when he fought jmm. at least pac is not a big welterweight and we are sure that he would not outweigh jmm as muchas floyd outweighed jmm at fight night. also for this fight, jmm would not be forcing to lift some rocks and add weight because he knew that pac is of the same size. lastly, floyd missed the intended catchweight thus making that fight more of a farce.

also, arum offerred both jmm and pacquiao for an immediate rematch but jmm refused while pac accepted it. both are not significantly higher from what they recieved in the first fight. in hindsight, it was seen as bad decision for jmm since he ended up fighting the jandaeng, johns and jacas of the world while pac ended up with the morales trilogy.

"Nobody bitched about the catchweight with Mayweather (or the fact that he lied to everyone and didn't even try to make the contracted weight). "

    nobody??

is this the best fight for pac at the moment? hell no...

is it the last real name thats viable for him to fight? ya...this is a last resort by arum to gain some excitement after 3 pretty uneventful showings by pac against 147lbers.....as mentioned....jmm is 38 and struggled at times against katsidis....i love jmm....but hes so ripe to get blitzed by pac right now...and thats exactly what arum wants....so luster restored on his prize.....i hope im wrong and jmm puts on a great show...and puts up a good fight....i just dont wanna see what i saw in the first two fights tarnished....

Marquez vs. Pacquaio is a hell of a lot more appealing than any of the other fights suggested. The weight issue is a red herring, the difference on the night won't be that much.

The Ring's argument is so **** anyway, but the fact that they mention Cintron as a better opponent for Manny than JMM, just totally makes it even more of a feeble argument. Pretty embarassing for The Ring to be peddling this nonsense.

    Cintron?

Who has Cintron fought (and beat) to warrant a match against Pacquiao?

    He's a *****.

cintron is a *****....and its a joke to mention him....

but they also mentioned ortiz, judah, bradley.....

how about zab? i mean....thats more floyd leftovers......ive got to give manny credit this time...hes taking it to a new level....hell be fighting his and floyds leftovers at the same time this time around!

itd be nice to see ortiz or bradley....but cant happen because pacs promoter is a greedy, grudge holding, son of a *****

Floyd is inactive, so it's fair to take him out of the rankings. And Manny is the clear P4P #1 anyway.

an article is written by one person. rating is done by several scribes. also the ring is the bible of boxing but you have your own mind to know what to believe and what is ****. in this case, we all knew that oscar was just bitter that his canelo offer could not match the pac offer by TR. you should be more wise to analyze each case.

im analyzing the case.....its pretty easy actually....heres one guy who says the fight is ****....and many happen to agree with it....and pacs fans are in an uproar claiming bias.....because their fighter is getting slammed for another **** fight nobody really wants to see

ur crazy if u think this is going to be the only article, like this, you are going to see....you will see more over the next few months...from different sources....you act like Ring was spearheading the campaign against the pac/mosley fight....and were the only ones doing so
