there is something seriously wrong with comparing 40 year old feather fisted, glass jawed 300lb kevin mcbride to the no.2 heavyweight of the world.
Speed is the only thing that mgiht give a win to adamek, so i'm pretty sure vitali realises that that speed and footwork is the only weapon against him. And big lol about the place of the fight, K2 promotions were choosing the place of the fight.
Arreola and Adamek are two opposite units. Skillwise, speedwise, powerwise - everything differs them. You say that Adamek doesnt carry near the power as Arreola, but again, how did it help Arreola to be that strong against someone like Vitali. Power alone is the least important factor approaching vitali in my opinion.
My man here understands. ****, Calzaghe couldn't pop his punches and he still beat skilled veterans who'd seen it all.
Adamek actually beat Arreola. They are two different type of fighters. You cant beat Vitali with your power (granit chin). Adamek may try to use movement and speed and try to win single rounds. With a bit of luck there may be an upset.
Thats how I see it too. Power is useful to get Vitalis respect, but you cant win basing on power. Staying busy, moving a lot and ducking punches and throwing combinations are the keys to Adamek's success.
Since Adamek entered the division it is a strong but surprising trend that he looks taller than most of his opponents ... so the most important question is how much taller than Vitaly will Adamek look at the presser?
