Just a wild guess here but I'd say Macklin turned up in Germany with a tweed farmers hat and hoodie on and Peters went out and bought him a suit an hour before the presser - note tag still on left sleeve - schoolboy error!

First Jeward took Germany by storm next will be Macklin. I think he has a chance in the fight it will be hard and he will need a KO cant aford it to go to the cards in Germany.

****in hell he knocked out an 85kg fella! dats phenomenal. Probably giving away over 3 stone! Imagine how much his punches hurt fellas his own weight :nut He has plenty of raw power like, but Hickey was just too smart in the final it seems.
I saw you fought Rory O Donoghue down here in Cork before. He could be reckoned with in the next year or so. He lost 16-1 to Cummings in the seniors but then lost 7-2 to him last week...big improvement! Do u reckon Cummings could have a chance in the box-offs during da summer?

Not bad at all, as someone said recently if you look at the opponents records you think they are shite boxers but most of these lads whilst not great are tough and take beating.Interesting that the lads get paid a percentage of the profits instead of a set wage.Unusual but this should make sure the hall is filled.Good luck to them :good
